Meet Dr. Lieb

Born in Romania, then a communist country, Pia escaped to Italy at the age of five with her parents, aunt, uncle and cousin; where they lived in a refugee camp for 16 months. It was a long, hard road for the family who eventually made it to America. Pia learned the importance of discipline, commitment and accomplishment at a very young age. Always knowing she was destined to be a doctor, Pia graduated from high school at 16 and headed off to college and received her degree in both general dentistry as well as dental surgery from New York University's prestigious College of Dentistry.

Dr. Lieb comes with impressive credentials including a D.M.D., D.D.S. and over 14 years teaching experience as Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU's College of Dentistry. Dr. Lieb also speaks five languages including English, Romanian, German, Italian and Hebrew all of which helped her with successful dental practices in Tel Aviv, Paris and New York. We are a cosmetic dental office specializing in smile makeovers including Laser Teeth Whitening, Veneers, Crowns, Invisalign, Porcelain Inlays/Onlays, Composite Restoration and Overall Exceptional Patient Oral Hygiene Education.

Services Overview

A"smile makeover" is the process of improving ones smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, composite fillings, crowns and Invisalign. A smile makeover will restore chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth, restore your bite, and return the muscles that control your jaw movement to their natural position. The goal of a smile makeover is to improve your smile by taking into consideration your facial appearance, skin tone, hair color, teeth, gum tissue and lips to develop your ideal smile. smile makeovers are customized according to your unique considerations and you and the dentist will discuss what you want your smile to look like as well the things that you currently don't like about your smile. Tooth decay, staining, discolored teeth and slight shifting or spacing are all inevitable causes that are unfortunate but can generally be remedied in a few short visits.

VENEERS

VENEERS

(sometimes called porcelain veneers or porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. Porcelain veneers resist stains and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth. Veneers require removal of less of the tooth surface before placement. You will need to discuss the best choice of veneer material for you with your dentist.
LASER WHITENING

LASER TEETH WHITENING

Laser teeth whitening is one of the newest methods available for teeth whitening. Laser treatment involves using a beam of special laser light along with a concentrated hydrogen peroxide gel on the desired areas of the mouth. Laser teeth whitening is popular because the procedure takes less than 1 hour , and results can be seen instantly. The result is a faster, more effective procedure with results of up to a 10 shade improvement.
CROWNS

CROWN

A crown is used to entirely cover or "cap" a damaged tooth. Besides strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve its appearance, shape or alignment. A crown can also be placed on top of an implant to provide a tooth-like shape and structure for function. Porcelain or ceramic crowns can be matched to the color of your natural teeth.
INLAYS

INLAYS & ONLAYS

Inlays and Onlays are a more conservative way of restoring normal tooth structure after decay or other damage. Inlays and onlays are known as indirect fillings because unlike a standard filling that is done in a dentist's office, both are made in a laboratory and cemented or bonded to the surface of the tooth during a second visit. And unlike standard fillings, inlays and onlays do not weaken the tooth structure, but actually strengthens it. An inlay is done when the tooth structure replaced is within the cusp tips of the tooth. If the damage is more extensive and the new structure covers the entire chewing surface including one or more tooth cusps, the procedure is called an onlay.
COMPOSITE FILLINGS

COMPOSITE FILLING

A composite filling is a tooth colored dental resin used to restore decayed teeth. Composite fillings were created as an alternative to traditional metal dental fillings. Composites are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth, reshaping teeth and close gaps. Composite Resin Dental Fillings are strong, durable, and make for a very natural looking smile.
INVISALIGN®

INVISALIGN ©

Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you've always wanted. The best part of the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
